I am a big fan of TED talks. But then, I am big fan of thinking and being made to think. I am also a believer in honesty. I think this is what Clint Smith is saying in The Danger of Silence: being honest keeps evil from being able to hide behind politeness and platitudes. And he says it better than I ever could. I shared this short video with my advisement students recently. Trying to make them look a little deeper, a little differently, at the world around them...
